Student Webpages

 

At this time, it is the Nestor Computer Monitors who take on the task of learning about Webpage building at Nestor!

The introductory activities may include:
learning about the Internet
watching a video about Internet safety
learning how to navigate in a website
practicing evaluating websites
learning how to write some basic HTML code

Then they go on to learning how to build their OWN webpages.
These advanced activities may include:

learning about the web editing program, Netscape Composer
adding new text and importing text from their student files
choosing page colors, formating text size, colour, placement etc.
learning how to make links between webpages and to other websites
searching for and importing animated gifs
taking digital photos and then importing the jpeg files
scanning in artwork and then importing the files
using MediaBuilder to make rotating banners
using DynamicDrive to add mouse trailers/ text animations
